The Badgers received big news on Friday when Milwaukee Jr. Admirals forward Grant Cruikshank gave a verbal commitment to play his college hockey for Wisconsin.
Very proud and honored to announce my commitment to play college hockey for Wisconsin. Thank you everyone who has supported me! #gobadgers

A 5-foot-9, 175-pound forward, Cruikshank is a dynamic skater with great bloodlines. Cruikshank is the son of former Olympic speedskaters Dave Cruikshank and Bonnie Blair.
Cruikshank is currently a member of the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals U16 team that is coached by former Badger Matt Murray. A native of Delafield, Wisconsin, Cruikshank leads the team in goals (30) and points (54) in just 28 games.
An effortless skater, Cruikshank zips around the ice with ease. He also has a tremendous shot despite his slender stature.
Cruikshank is a second round USHL Phase I Draft selection by the Youngstown Phantoms. Earlier this season, Cruikshank was invited by USA Hockey to play two games with the U.S. NTDP U-17 team when they were dealing with injuries.
