The Wisconsin Badgers have offered 2025 four-star defensive back Dawayne Galloway Jr., he announced on Wednesday.

Galloway, a native of Columbus, Ohio, possesses 23 scholarship offers already, including ones from Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, Penn State, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Oklahoma, among others.

Standing at 5’11, 165 pounds, Galloway recorded five interceptions as a junior in 2023 for Marion-Franklin High School.

On the 247Sports Composite, Galloway is seen as a top-100 recruit in the Class of 2025 and is universally a four-star prospect, with ESPN ranking him as high as the 78th-best player in the class.

The Badgers prioritized defensive back in the 2024 cycle, adding four players: Xavier Lucas, Omillio Agard, Raphael Dunn, and Jay Harper, who all range with different physical profiles.

Thus far, the Badgers have four recruits already committed to their 2025 class: Offensive tackle Michael Roeske, linebacker Cooper Catalano, defensive back Remington Moss, and quarterback Landyn Locke.
