The Wisconsin Badgers are reaching some closure with one of their 2025 targets, as four-star safety Ivan Taylor is set to announce his decision on Friday at 2:30 P.M. ET.

A native of Winter Garden, Florida, Taylor dropped his top seven schools, which includes Louisville, Tennessee, USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida State, and Wisconsin.

Taylor has earned 15 offers, including from the likes of Alabama, Florida, Penn State, Tennessee, USC and hometown Miami, but Wisconsin ultimately made his top seven over those schools.

The son of former NFL defensive back Ike Taylor, the 6’0, 175-pound safety was in Madison for a visit during their ugly 24-10 game against Northwestern in November.

His primary recruiters have been safeties coach Colin Hitschler, who has seen some early recruiting success at Wisconsin, and Director of Recruiting Pat Lambert.

The frontrunners in the race appear to be the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where Taylor has visited several times, but the Badgers were able to make it into the top seven for a top-ten safety in the nation, according to recruiting databases.

Taylor will make his decision this Friday at 2:30 P.M. ET.
