The Wisconsin Badgers are dipping their feet into the transfer portal early on, as they’ve offered D-III standout transfer receiver Jaden Richardson, who is moving on from Tufts University.

A native of San Mateo California, Richardson will be a redshirt senior with two years of eligibility remaining.

Standing at 6’3, 210 pounds, Richardson broke out in 2023, catching 46 passes for 830 yards and 13 touchdowns in nine games.

It was a step up from his 2022 play, where the wideout caught 41 passes for 666 yards and seven touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore.

A deep threat, Richardson averaged 18 yards per catch in 2023, an elite mark regardless of competition level.

Since entering the portal, Richardson has seen a bevy of interest from D-I and D-II schools, with Wisconsin recently joining the mix.

Here’s the full list of Richardson’s offers since entering the portal: Butler, McNeese State, Marist, Sacramento State, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, North Carolina A&T, Towson, Arkansas Pine-Bluff, South Florida, Southern Illinois, Washington, Liberty, and Wisconsin.
