Over three days in early December, Wisconsin managed one flip per day. T.J. Edwards was the third, following Dareian Watkins and Micah Kapoi. Edwards spurned Western Michigan once Wisconsin offered, and he could very well be a sleeper in this class. Here's our Andrew Rosin sized up him after his commit:

His Hudl profile shows that the Badgers may have found themselves a sleeper in the two-star Edwards. He has the athleticism to make defenders miss at the high school level as a spread quarterback, plus he shows a willingness to close and hit as a safety, though the expectations are that Edwards will join Rohan Blackwood as an outside linebacker for this class.

In short, he may be the intriguing Leon Jacobs-type that grows from this class.

Blackwood, of course, ultimately flipped to South Florida. Edwards is the lowest-rated recruit in the class, though 247 Sports says that doesn't mean he can live up to that sleeper billing:

The two-star athlete is an excellent fit at outside linebacker in Wisconsin's 3-4 defense. The Badgers re-evaluated Edwards during the season and went after him as a former Western Michigan commit.
