Last May, Gary Andersen looked back toward his old stomping grounds to bring in Wisconsin's sixth commit of 2014. Listed by Wisconsin at 6'2, 235 pounds, Ula Tolutau will likely play fullback for the Badgers, though not for a little while -- he'll be taking a two-year mission trip and will join the 2016 class, all of which Andersen confirmed yesterday.
Tolutau has always seemed exciting about coming to Madison, considering his stated desire to move out of his home state:
"I kind of wanted to go out of state, Wisconsin was always a dream school," Tolutau said. "Coach Andersen just happened to be the coach, so I just pulled the trigger."
"You know, if you are a running back, from my point of view, that is where you want to go," he said. "What they did with Montee Ball and they have that huge offensive line. It is a powerhouse running school."

Tolutau committed to Wisconsin over offers from Utah, BYU, Hawaii and Utah State. The Badgers certainly present the best program of that bunch, though you can also see Tolutau's desire to move away from his home state. Defensive line coach Chad Kauha'aha'a and now-former running backs coach Thomas Hammock are credited with his recruitment.
