After George Rushing decommitted from Louisville in January, Wisconsin and TCU jumped in on pursuit of the skilled wide receiver. Wisconsin won out two days before signing day when Rushing gave his soft verbal, giving the Badgers their fifth receiver of the class.

Rushing's commitment likely cost Wisconsin Cornelius Sturghill, who flipped to Louisville on signing day after the Cardinals offered him the chance to play receiver, which the Badgers did not. They're probably comfortable with that, considering Rushing's reputation of having strong hands and sharp route-running skills. From Badger247:

He may not jump off the screen when watching his film, but what does stand out are Rushing's skills. His pass catching, route running, and hands are all very polished for a high school receiver. The three-star wide out has a great feel for the game, which will allow him to grasp Wisconsin's offense in a hurry.
