UPDATE, 2:31 p.m.: Dominic Cizauskas just announced his commitment to Wisconsin via Twitter. He's now the Badgers' sixth in-state commit for 2014.

---

Wisconsin's first of its annual football camps for scouting potential recruits began this Monday and will run through today. Through the first two days, UW has offered a scholarship to in-state linebacker Dominic Cizauskas and earned a verbal commitment from Utah quarterback Austin Kafentzis, the first of the 2015 class.

The commitment of Kafentzis comes at a good time, as Wisconsin fans learned of the news shortly after reports of safety Donnell Vercher's denied admission to UW spread.

However, there's more discouraging news for Wisconsin fans: defensive tackle Craig Evans' commiment status is certainly up in the air. The four-star Sun Prairie prospect is currently a soft commit for Wisconsin but participated in Michigan State's camp in East Lansing this past week.

Evans, to Badger247.com:

"I really enjoyed myself there. It was great man. They really got me thinking. I was thinking after I left campus yesterday."

Doesn't sound good, but it gets worse:

"It most definitely changed a little bit," Evans said. "I'm not going to lie. It came to a point where I came close to committing there. I still have the love for Wisconsin, but I'm not going to lie, I got some love for Michigan State too."

We'll just have to stay tuned to the runaround Evans is giving the UW coaching staff.
