WR Natrell Jamerson becomes Badgers' 21st commitment for 2014

There was news swirling today about the Badgers and a talented receiver who may sign after Northwestern parted ways with Dareian Watkins. But at the end of the day, while the receiver who made his commitment isn't the one the recruiting fans may have been expecting, he's definitely a potential impact player.

Natrell Jamerson made his visit to Madison for the Indiana game, and he held Wisconsin as a favorite ever since the Badgers came looking his way in October. And tonight the Ocala (FL) Vanguard receiver made it official. Speed is a major aspect to his game, and if he's anywhere close to his reported 4.24 40-time, it doesn't matter how many receivers the Badgers end up signing (and it could be six scholarships and a grayshirt offer), Jamerson will find his way onto the field.

Jamerson is also teammates with a sleeper prospect at tight end in Kano Dillon. Dillon had to reschedule his visit to Wisconsin, but would be a definite take if and when he offers to commit. The Badgers beat out Old Dominion, Middle Tennessee, UAB, and Florida International to get Jamerson and held off Vanderbilt, who had a late interest in the receiver.
