Wisconsin basketball recruiting: 2016 offers, targets

The 2016 recruiting cycle drags on for Bo Ryan and company, still in dire need of a point guard. Here's a comprehensive look at the outstanding offers and primary targets in the class.

Just when you thought Wisconsin's basketball recruiting was winding down in the class of 2016, it pulls you back in. With only one scholarship available to hand out and JaQuori McLaughlin's visit in the rearview mirror, the Badgers were officially in wait-and-see mode. Now that McLaughlin and several other players once targeted by Wisconsin have made their college decisions, the roller coaster is gearing up for another round in an effort to gain UW's first 2016 commitment.

Missing on McLaughlin is tough. Realistically, it's doubtful that Illinois big man Nick Rakocevic still has a committable offer based on Wisconsin's needs, leaving Ohio guard Frankie Hughes. Milwaukee native Te'Jon Lucas quietly sailed by in the background. The staff will have to get creative.
