A verbal commitment from La Crosse Central's Kobe King jump-started Wisconsin's 2017 recruiting class in a big way in September and the parade of hoops visitors continued into October. Wisconsin welcomed a number of prospects from Minnesota for the Iowa game Saturday, headlined by 2017 forward Goanar Mar from prep powerhouse DeLaSalle. Mar attended UW's advanced camp in June and his team won the camp tournament. Illinois forward Justin Smith was another 2017 visitor expected to take an unofficial visit to Madison this weekend.
Below is a snapshot of UW's recruiting situation specifically for the 2017 class. The goal is for this to be a living document that will stay current as news breaks, much the same way our main basketball recruiting hub does.
