The Wisconsin Badgers are set to take on the Lindenwood Lions at the Kohl Center for a weekend series, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 P.M. CT on Friday.

Ahead of their matchup, however, the Badgers did see a boost in the latest rankings, as they climbed from No. 5 to No. 3 in this week’s USCHO Poll, earning five first-place votes as well.

The boost comes after a weekend where the Badgers swept Notre Dame on the road, winning 2-1 and 7-4 in the two matchups to improve to 18-4-0 on the season.

Here are the Top 7 in the USCHO Poll for the Week of January 8th, with first-place votes in parentheses:

1. Boston College (37) 13-3-1

2. Boston University (6) 12-4-1

3. Wisconsin (5) 18-4-0

4. North Dakota 14-5-1

5. Quinnipiac 13-4-2

6. Denver 14-5-1

7. Maine (2) 13-3-2

The lone other mover this week was Quinnipac, who fell from No. 3 to No. 5 after tying Northeastern in overtime 3-3 in their lone match of the weekend.
