In the latest USCHO rankings, the Badgers soared from an unranked team to No. 14, marking the biggest jump of any team in this week’s poll.

The news comes after the Badgers successfully swept No. 17 Michigan Tech on the road this past weekend, winning 4-2 and 5-2 on consecutive days.
Thus far, Wisconsin’s lone loss has come to No. 4 North Dakota, who have started 3-1 on the season, including a series split with No. 1 Minnesota.
Minnesota is next up on the docket for the Badgers, as the two sides will face off this Thursday and Friday in a road series for Wisconsin.
Over the weekend, the Badgers saw scoring opportunities for nine different players, as they outscored Michigan Tech 9-4, spreading the wealth amongst the entire team.
It’s been a welcoming start to the Mike Hastings era as the Badgers look to get back on track following a disappointing season, and they'll face their toughest test to date this weekend with No. 1 Minnesota.
