Sean Little will get his chance to play professional hockey. According to Wisconsin men's hockey assistant coach Gary Shuchuk, Little has signed with the Bakersfield Condors in the ECHL.
Congrats to @slittle18 with signing with the @Condors of the #echl. At least they can save some money by reusing @RLittle20 jersey.

Little recently wrapped up a four-year career at UW, playing in 117 games for the Badgers. A native of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Little was an effective penalty-killer and energy player during his career. Little was also well known as a one of the most likable players on the roster during his time with the Badgers.
The ECHL is the equivalent of the "AA" ranks in professional hockey. Little's older brother, Ryan, played in 50 games for Bakersfield last season, registering 21 points and a team-leading +18 plus/minus rating. Ryan, who also played for the Badgers, has since decided to retire from professional hockey.
Little is the sixth senior and eighth player from Wisconsin's roster last season to line up a professional contract for next year. Michael Mersch (Los Angeles Kings), Jake McCabe (Buffalo Sabres) and Nic Kerdiles (Anaheim Ducks) have inked NHL deals, while Tyler Barnes (Grand Rapids Griffins), Mark Zengerle (Grand Rapids Griffins) and Frankie Simonelli (Providence Bruins) have signed AHL deals. Jefferson Dahl has signed with EHC Klostersee in Germany.
