Wisconsin thrashed Penn State, 7-1, Friday night in the first-ever Big Ten hockey conference game at the Kohl Center. In the rout, senior winger Tyler Barnes had a highlight-reel goal that was a big topic of conversation.
The goal, which happened in the second period, was featured on ESPN's "SportsCenter" as well as on Fox Sports 1.
"Tyler's a very highly-skilled forward and I'm not surprised by that goal," LaBate said. "He does it in practice, he can do moves like that. He can pull it off."
