Offensively, the Badgers were very efficient, scoring over 1.2 points per possession for the second consecutive game, while shooting 50 percent from both the field and from three.

Defensively, Wisconsin let up only 63 total points, despite Northwestern’s Boo Buie scoring 22 points, as the Badgers held the Wildcats to 42.6 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from three.

Following the game, Badgers insider Rohan Chakravarthi shared his instant reaction to the Badgers’ 71-63 win over Northwestern, pointing out the major takeaways for the team moving forward.

With the win, the Badgers finish the week 2-0 and remain undefeated in conference play, which could result in a bump up the AP Top 25 once again this upcoming week.
