However, Wisconsin may have to make do without one of their top players, as center Steven Crowl has been listed as questionable for tonight’s matchup with an undisclosed issue.
Crowl, a junior, is averaging 12.6 points and 7.6 rebounds for the Badgers this season while shooting 61.1 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from three.
His 12.6 points per game rank second on the team behind transfer guard A.J. Storr, who is averaging 14.7 points a contest on 44.7 percent from the field.
Crowl is also averaging 2.1 assists a contest, second on the team behind point guard Chucky Hepburn, who is on pace to be just the seventh Badger since 1992-93 to average four assists per game.
Since arriving in Madison, Crowl’s numbers have steadily improved, as the center went from averaging 8.8 points and 4.4 rebounds a game as a first-time starter in 2021-22 before jumping to 12.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per contest in 2022-2023 and 12.6 points and 7.1 rebounds a game in 2023-24.
Additionally, Crowl’s percentages have risen every year, going from 49.6 percent from the field in 2021-2022 to 51 percent in 2022-23 and now 61.1 percent this season.
