Fresh off a 75-64 upset of the Marquette Golden Eagles, the Wisconsin Badgers are set to begin conference play with a road matchup against Michigan State on Tuesday before continuing with their non-conference schedule over the weekend.
After facing two early losses, the Badgers have compiled four consecutive victories over Virginia, SMU, Robert Morris, and Marquette, which has moved them into the AP Top 25 for the first time this season.
Over the weekend, it was Max Klesmit who showed out for the Badgers, scoring 21 first-half points to provide a necessary scoring boost in the victory.
Now, standing at 6-2 on the season, the Badgers will look to beat a Michigan State team that was ranked at No. 4 entering the season, but has gone 4-3 to begin the year.
