The Wisconsin Badgers are off to a strong start to the 2023-2024 season, finishing the first portion of their season with a 9-3 record ahead of conference play, good for the No. 23 team in the AP Top 25 rankings.

At No. 23, the Badgers are the third-best team in the conference, as the Illinois Fighting Illini sit at No. 11, while the Purdue Boilermakers are at No. 1.

They’ll now begin their conference slate on January 2nd against the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Kohl Center, looking to build on their two-game winning streak.

Thus far, the Badgers are 1-0 in conference play, having beaten Michigan State on the road on December 5th.

They’re one of seven Big Ten teams with at least nine wins on the season, setting up for a few months of competitive conference starting next week.
