The Wisconsin Badgers returned to the win column with a 75-60 victory over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Thursday, improving to 8-3 on the year.
It wasn’t the prettiest performance by Wisconsin, who saw a few bumps in the road, but the Badgers still managed to score over 70 points and carve out a double digit victory.
Offensively, the Badgers were pretty efficient, despite the way the game went, averaging 1.21 points per possession, thanks to 28 free throw attempts.
Defensively, Wisconsin managed to hold Jacksonville State to .938 points per possession, despite them shooting 47 percent from the field and 40 percent from three.
Following the game, Badgers insider Rohan Chakravarthi shared his instant reaction to the Badgers’ 75-60 win over Jacksonville State, pointing out the major takeaways for the team moving forward.
Next up, the Badgers finish up their non-conference slate with a matchup against Chicago State, who recently defeated Northwestern, before earning a little break over the winter.
