It seems funny to think that a 35-3 team that won the Big Ten championship and conference tournament en route to a No. 1 seed is the "underdog" with a chance to pull off one of the most significant upsets in college basketball history. Yet that is precisely the stage set for your Wisconsin Badgers this weekend.
Kentucky (38-0) has faced pressure all year in it's pursuit of perfection, so the Wildcats won't be fazed by anything Wisconsin throws at them. Like Kentucky, Wisconsin has taken opponents' best shots all season long but actually has had a more grueling postseason road. With last year's Final Four loss to UK firmly planted in their memory, the Badgers won't flinch either. It will come down to execution.
We are trying something new today. Instead of grilling our UK counterpart in a typical Q&A, we are using a new product from ReplyAll that allows us to post more of a conversation in real time. Let us know if you like it.
My partner in crime over the next few days is Glenn Logan, managing editor at Kentucky site A Sea of Blue. Keep checking back in here as our conversation will be updated throughout the week. If you have any burning questions you'd like me to ask Glenn, feel free to leave them in the comments.
Hope you enjoy the conversation. Let us know if you prefer this format to the old way. Also, don't forget to check out Glenn on Twitter @ASeaOfBlue. Wisconsin and Kentucky clash in the second national semifinal scheduled for approximately 7:49 p.m. CT Saturday from Indianapolis.
