College basketball rankings: Wisconsin continues climb in AP Top 25, Coaches Polls

For the first time this season, zero Big Ten teams made the AP poll's top 10.

As Wisconsin continues to stave off the bad voodoo that knocked it far away from NCAA tournament top-seed territory, the AP Top 25 and USA TODAY Coaches Polls have responded accordingly. The Badgers are now a fringe top-15 team, placing 16th in the AP poll and 18th in the coaches.

An impressive 2-0 week is to thank, as Wisconsin took down Minnesota on Thursday and then set forth a thoroughly impressive victory over Michigan on Sunday. This week's poll standings are UW's highest since it landed at No. 14/13 on Jan. 27.

Wisconsin's off until Saturday, when it faces No. 15 Iowa in a huge road contest.

Elsewhere in the Big Ten, from where for the first time all season, there was no representative in the AP's top 10 :

  • Michigan State: No. 13 in the AP, No. 14 in the coaches
  • Iowa: No. 15 in both
  • Michigan: No. 20 in both
  • Ohio State: No. 24 in the AP, No. 23 in the coaches
