The Wisconsin Badgers are reportedly hiring a new offensive line coach, as the school recently re-assigned current coach Jack Bicknell Jr., according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Bicknell, 60, was a first-year coach at Wisconsin, coming to Madison from the UNC Tar Heels alongside offensive coordinator Phil Longo last offseason.
Prior to that, Bicknell coached at Ole Miss (2017-2019), Auburn (2020), and Louisville (2021), manning the offensive line units at each destination.
It appears that Bicknell will be taking a different role in the coaching department, rather than being fired, but the Badgers will be searching for their fourth offensive line coach in four years now.
The offensive line was a talking point this season, as there were inconsistencies up front as the offense moved to a new scheme, raising questions as to what changes could come going forward under Luke Fickell.
Bicknell’s “re-assignment” is the second coaching change that the Badgers have experienced this offseason. Wisconsin also hired wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton from Arkansas after Mike Brown left for the same role at Notre Dame.
