The Wisconsin Badgers saw one of their wide receiver targets in the transfer portal come off the board, as James Madison transfer Elijah Sarratt announced his commitment to the Indiana Hoosiers on Thursday.

Sarratt, a redshirt sophomore, came out strong as a redshirt freshman in 2022 with 42 catches for 700 yards and 13 touchdowns before breaking out with an 82-catch, 1,191-yard, and eight-touchdown season in 2023.

Standing at 6’2, 207 pounds, Sarratt now joins his former head coach Curt Cignetti at his new destination, who recently left James Madison for the Indiana head coaching job.

The Hoosiers lost top wideout Donovan Culley to the transfer portal earlier this offseason, leaving a void at the position.

Now, with Sarratt off to Indiana, the Badgers are still actively looking for potential receivers to add in the transfer portal, with targets like Purdue’s Jahmal Banks having already received offers from the program.

Can the Badgers add another receiver from the portal?
