Badgers defensive players speak ahead of Week 4 vs. Purdue

Hear what the defensive players had to say ahead of Big Ten play.

The Wisconsin Badgers are getting ready for Big Ten play, with their first test coming on the road against the Purdue Boilermakers, fresh off a 35-14 victory over the Georgia Southern Eagles.

Following last week’s game, I spoke with defensive linemen C.J. Goetz and James Thompson, as well as cornerback Ricardo Hallman about the growth of the front four and the difficulties of man-coverage in defensive coordinator Mike Tressel’s system.

Then, I got the chance to speak with linebacker Maema Njongmeta and safety Hunter Wohler earlier this week as the duo previewed Big Ten play.
