The Wisconsin Badgers got more transfer portal news on Monday as the second window comes to a close, as quarterback Marshall Howe announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal.

Howe, a redshirt freshman walk-on, had put together an impressive spring, and offensive coordinator Phil Longo had shared that he had the grasp on the third-string quarterback role behind QBs Tanner Mordecai and Braedyn Locke during spring ball.
Longo noted previously that Howe’s strong understanding of the new offensive system was one of the main reasons for being third on the depth chart.
Howe is now the fourth player to enter the transfer portal this spring for the Badgers, meaning the team now sits at 85 scholarship players on the roster for the 2023 season, although there still may be movement both coming in and going out.
