Wisconsin Badgers wide receiver Skyler Bell is entering the transfer portal, he announced on Monday.
Bell, a redshirt junior from the Bronx, New York, had been a slot receiver for the Badgers this season, but had seen a drop in snaps after moving to the second-team offense in favor of Will Pauling.
As a result, Bell finished with 38 catches for 297 yards and a touchdown.
The slot wideout struggled with drop issues throughout the year, as his seven drops led the team, despite being fourth on the team in receiving yards.
Bell is the second receiver to transfer from the Badgers, as Chimere Dike announced his intentions to enter the portal as a graduate transfer on Monday as well, leaving Wisconsin after four years with the program.
Last offseason, the Badgers brought in four transfers: Will Pauling, Bryson Green, Quincy Burroughs, and C.J. Williams. That left Wisconsin with a crowded receiver room, which is why a few transfers were likely at the position in this cycle, and two have already entered the portal.
