The Wisconsin Badgers have continued their trend of offering defensive linemen in the portal, as they extended offers to three more players on Thursday: Austin Peay transfer Travis Bates, Oklahoma transfer Kelvin Gilliam, and Florida State transfer Ayobami Tifase.

Bates, a redshirt freshman, saw his first true action in 2023, where he recorded three sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss.

Standing at 6’3, 265 pounds, Bates came on at the end of the season, recording at least half a sack in three of the last four games.

Gilliam, a redshirt sophomore, saw action in six games this season as a backup, recording three tackles.

A four-star recruit in the Class of 2021, Gilliam stands at 6’3, 300 pounds.

The Badgers also offered Florida State transfer defensive lineman Ayobami Tifase, who was a late addition to the visit list this weekend after earning the offer.

Tifase, a redshirt freshman, was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2022, and stands at 6’4, 300 pounds.
