Fresh off a resounding 25-21 comeback victory over the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Wisconsin Badgers have their biggest challenge to date ahead of them in Week 9, as they'll face off against the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes, who just defeated the then-No. 6 Penn State Nittany Lions.
Heading into Week 9, the Badgers stand at 5-2, while the Buckeyes hold a 7-0 record, with a rematch against Michigan still on the books later in the season.

Looking at the depth chart, there aren’t many significant changes, but the Badgers did place Maema Njongmeta as the starter alongside Jake Chaney at linebacker, with Jordan Turner relegated to the second-team defense. Turner missed Week 8 with a concussion.
But, as we’ve seen thus far, center Jake Renfro and defensive end Isaiah Mullens have yet to crack the two-deep following injuries, although the former has been working as the No. 2 center behind Tanor Bortolini in warmups over the past few weeks.
In other news, head coach Luke Fickell chimed in on needing players to step up at certain positions, citing running back Braelon Allen and outside linebacker C.J. Goetz as players who were seeing too many snaps.
