Decommitment Decommitted from Arizona

When coaches scoped out Leaf's versatility at the Adidas Invitational in the summer of 2013, the recruitment of this versatile young big man went national. Leaf already received offers from a bunch of heavy-hitters in college basketball: Arizona, Indiana, Louisville, Michigan, UCLA, plus Arizona State, Cal, Gonzaga, Oregon, San Diego State and Xavier.

Leaf is coached by his father, Brad, at Foothills Christian. After his freshman season, he was added to the USA Men's Developmental Team. In July, he was named a finalist for the U17 team along with Henry Ellenson and Diamond Stone. Don't be fooled by Leaf's babyface either ... dude can punctuate at the rim. His favorite NBA comparisons are Ryan Anderson and Chandler Parsons.

Leaf decommitted from Arizona on August 6, 2015 and cut the Wildcats immediately from his updated top eight, which included Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA, Texas, Cal, San Diego State, Gonzaga and Indiana.
