Semi Ojeleye commits to Duke

After being pursued by heavy hitters like Duke, Kansas and UCLA, Ojeleye's recruitment picked up even more steam when official offers from Missouri, Duke and Indiana came in. Wisconsin was the first to offer Ojeleye last summer and was expecting a return visit later this summer. Though he originally said UCLA might be the only stop before his official visits, he still desired to attend a Badger football game in September. Wisconsin hung around in good shape among Ojeyele's trimmed list, but did not make the recent cut to four schools. Ojeleye's brother, Victor, plays for Kansas State and was valedictorian of his class in Ottowa. The younger Ojeleye (full name Semilore, aka "Shimi") has stressed that academics will be a factor in his school decision. His family is originally from Nigeria. Ojeleye attended both Nike's Kevin Durant and LeBron James Skills Academies. He exploded for 50 points in a game as a junior.
