Verbal commitment Verbally committed to Northern Illinois

Wilson is an undersized off guard, but is powerful and explosive, as his video highlights indicate. He spent his sophomore year playing JV for Hill Murray due to transfer rules in effect by coming over from Tartan. He used to play on the same AAU team (D1 Minnesota) as Badger targets Henry Ellenson and Billy Wampler, but has moved on to WI United to play with Levi Bradley and others.

According to reports, Wilson left Wisconsin's advanced camp in June after his sophomore year without an offer, but later told Badger247's Evan Flood that assistant coach Greg Gard extended an offer on that Sunday night. It's likely that Wilson's UW offer was a conditional one, considering the Badgers pounced on Aaron Jordan -- another guard in the same class -- right away during the camp. The staff also wanted to monitor Wilson on the academic side of the equation, according to reports. Since then, Wisconsin seems to have cooled on Wilson, who currently holds undisputed offers from Creighton, Colorado State, and Northern Iowa.

Wisconsin United made a great run tin July at the NY2LA Sports Summer Jam with Wilson and Levi Bradley leading the way. Wilson scored 23 points against the King James Shooting Stars to reach the championship game, before the team fell to Thon Maker's squad. Wilson will join Bradley at Northern Illinois, which he announced on March 31, 2015.
