Moeller senior guard Josh Davenport verbally commits to Winthrop (Cincinnati Enquirer)
Davenport came off the bench for most of his sophomore season until the final two-game stretch in the state playoffs when he sprung for 35 points. Wisconsin is among Davenport's top three choices last August, with the others presumably being Butler and, most recently, Xavier. But he may not have an official Badger offer, according to his coach. Iowa is rumored to have offered him a scholarship as well.
