Equally capable in the paint and shooting from the outside, Jackson Grant impressed Greg Gard during the Under Armour Association Finals in Atlanta and in Colorado Springs during Team USA mini-camp to receive an early Badger offer on the west coast.
Grant’s first offers came from Pepperdine and San Diego, then the Washington Huskies program he was a big fan of growing up. An AAU coach with Washington Supreme has compared Grant to former Washington big man Spencer Hawes. Next came offers from Stanford, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and most recently, California. Grant’s first official visit was to Wisconsin, where he joined a huge group of UW commits and recruits for the Michigan game.
