Just a rising sophomore, Daniel Freitag is already showing off athleticism, vision, a yo-yo handle and standout defensive work. He showed out at Wisconsin’s end-of-June advanced camp and came away with his first scholarship offer courtesy of Greg Gard. Minnesota’s offer surely won’t be far behind, as is customary.
Freitag, another Howard Pulley Panther, came away impressed with Wisconsin’s program and credited assistant coach Joe Krabbenhoft for prodding him to attend the camp. Freitag also stars as an electric wide receiver for Bloomington Jefferson Senior High.
