Wisconsin came out with its Final Four video on Tuesday night, and man -- it's awesome.
Frank Kaminsky named AP All-American
Wisconsin senior center Frank Kaminsky was named, unanimously I might add, to the AP All-America first team for 2014-2015. Just one more monster accomplishment this year for Kaminsky, who is putting together one of the finest careers of any Wisconsin basketball player in history. Frank the Tank is averaging 18.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists on the season while shooting 54.9% from the field. He leads the country in excellent dance moves which is not usually taken into account when these teams are selected, but certainly didn't hurt Kaminsky's chances. In yet one more thing at which the B1G is better than the SEC, joining football and Final Four participants, the best conference in the land had two players on the first team compared to the SEC's one. Freshman D'Angelo Russell of Ohio State joined Kaminsky in receiving this honor, while freshman Jahlil Okafor of Duke, senior Jerian Grant of Notre Dame and junior Willie Cauley-Stein of Kentucky round out the best five players in America.
Video: Sam Dekker has a history of awesome three-pointers
Burying Arizona with a dagger of a three-pointer on Saturday night was not the first time Sam "Cold As Ice" Dekker ruined another team's night with his heroics. Way back in high school, Dekker won Sheboygan Lutheran's first state title by nailing a three, as time wound down, over another helpless defender's outstretched arms. Thanks to Jason Dean (@the_dean) for putting together this nice little video with the two together. So, don't feel too bad about this Arizona. Precedent had already been set.
