Wisconsin Badgers vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers: Game Thread

Can the Badgers continue their recent win streak at home?

NCAA Basketball: Iowa at Wisconsin Kayla Wolf-USA TODAY Sports

The Wisconsin Badgers are set to face off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday, most recently coming off an 83-72 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes.

With the win on Tuesday, the Badgers stand at a 10-3 record, which they’ll look to improve on Tuesday against Nebraska, with tipoff scheduled for 1:15 P.M. CT on the Big Ten Network.

Nebraska, standing at 12-2, is currently riding a five-game winning streak, most recently beating the Indiana Hoosiers 86-70.

The Hawkeyes have scored 78.2 points a game, shooting 44.2 percent from the field and 33.2 percent from three.

In Tuesday’s game, the Badgers are seen as 5.5-point favorites, with the over/under set at 143.5 points.

Nebraska has struggled against bigs, which was seen in their losses to Creighton and Minnesota, and I see those struggles carrying over to Saturday’s game, should the Badgers look to continue attacking the paint.

That should also free up more open shots around the perimeter, which is why I’m taking the Badgers to cover the spread in this one.

Prediction: Wisconsin -5.5
