The Wisconsin Badgers have started off the season strong against a tough non-conference schedule, finishing the first half 9-3 with losses to Tennessee, Providence, and Arizona.
Is that ranking too high or too low?
Well, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi seems to have an opinion on the topic, as he placed the Badgers as a No. 3 seed in his latest Bracketology predictions, anointing them as a top-12 team in the country.
At No. 12 overall, Wisconsin earns the final No. 3 seed in Lunardi’s predictions, which have them facing No. 14 seeded Samford in the first round of the projected NCAA bracket.
The Badgers have a tough conference schedule ahead of them in the Big Ten, as they’ll see both Purdue and Illinois down the line, but the projections are currently favorable for Wisconsin, who could see some climbing up the rankings as the season goes along.
