Fresh off a strong week where the Wisconsin Badgers defeated both the Virginia Cavaliers and SMU Mustangs to win the Fort Myers Classic Tip-Off, UW returns home for a matchup against the Western Illinois Leathernecks on Monday, with tipoff scheduled for 6 P.M. CT.

In the win last Monday against Virginia, the Badgers displayed dominance on the defensive end, holding Virginia to 41 points, while overcoming a slow first half offensively to win 65-41 in blowout fashion.

Then, Wisconsin was able to come back against SMU with a strong second half, as several players stepped up to make key plays, ultimately leading to the 69-61 win.

Now standing at 4-2 on the season, the Badgers will look to carry their success back to the Kohl Center, where they last beat Robert Morris 78-68.

They’ll face a Western Illinois team that currently sits at 2-4, having been blown out 90-53 by SMU and 84-52 by Illinois.
