Wisconsin Badgers vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers: Game Thread

Can the Badgers finish off the season with the Axe in their hands?

The Wisconsin Badgers are set to face off against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday, with kickoff slated for 2:30 P.M.

Ahead of the game, Wisconsin named two starters as questionable, wideouts Will Pauling and Bryson Green, while safety Hunter Wohler is cleared to go.

Unfortunately, the Badgers will be without backup running back Jackson Acker, likely making Cade Yacamelli the No. 2 option behind Braelon Allen on Saturday, while true freshman Nate White made the travel roster as a result.

On the other side, Minnesota will be without safety Darius Green and running backs Darius Taylor and Zach Evans, linebacker Cody Lindenberg returns for the Gophers.

The Badgers, sitting at 6-5 on the season and 4-4 in conference play, are looking to reclaim the Axe from the Gophers, who stand at 5-6 and 3-5 in conference play, for the first time in three years, while also stopping their rivals from gaining bowl eligibility.
