Fresh off a disappointing week, the No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers are set to face off against the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves in a weekend series, with the opener held on Friday at 7 P.M. CT.
After being named No. 1 in the country over their bye week, the Badgers had a chance to back up the hype, but fell short in a series on the road against the Michigan State Spartans last weekend, losing 4-2 and 3-2 in a sweep.
In the losing efforts, the Badgers got a goal from Owen Lindmark in each game, while Joey Larson accomplished the same feat for Michigan State.
Currently standing at 9-3, the Badgers will look to uphold their 4-0 record at home, and they will return Cruz Lucius and Mike Vorlicky back to the lineup.
They’ll take on an Alaska Anchorage team that stands at 5-8-1 on the season, most recently getting swept by Arizona State.
Can they turn things around on Saturday? The game starts at 7 P.M. CT.
