Bowden has been a heralded long snapper in college football, having been named a preseason All-American ahead of the season.
Bowden was also on the Mannelly Award watchlist, given to the top long snapper in the country.
The Badgers long snapper faced some changes this offseason, as he had to adapt to Wisconsin’s new punt scheme under head coach Luke Fickell and freshman punter Atticus Bertrams, who employs a “rugby” style.
Last season, Bowden was a semifinalist for the Mannelly Award.
The Badgers sent defensive tackle Keeanu Benton to the Senior Bowl last season, where he improved his draft stock before ultimately getting selected with the No. 47 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Wisconsin had nine players named to the 2024 Senior Bowl watchlist prior to the season: Chimere Dike, Tanor Bortolini, Travian Blaylock, Tanner Mordecai, Isaiah Mullens, Jason Maitre, Maema Njongmeta, Jordan Turner, and Jack Nelson.
