The Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team had known for a while which conference opponents they’d be playing twice or only on the road or at home, but what they didn’t know is what order those games would come. Well, now they do!

This is the fourth-consecutive year in which each school will compete in a 20-game Big Ten schedule. All TV info and tip-times will come out at a later date.
The Badgers are set to open up Big Ten Conference play with the Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at the Kohl Center in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin. Then they travel to Columbus, Ohio for their first road B1G game of the season to play the Ohio State Buckeyes on Dec. 11. The next conference game isn’t until Jan. 3 at Purdue, however the Badgers have three non-conference games and an extended break for exams in between.
A few more notable conference games for the Badgers are:
- Jan. 9 at Maryland
- Jan. 13 vs. Ohio State
- Jan. 21 vs. Michigan State
- Feb. 2 at Illinois
- Feb. 8 at Michigan State
- Feb. 20 vs. Michigan
- Mar. 1 vs. Purdue
Wisconsin ends the season, like they began it, at home on March 6 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
In Joe Lunardi’s most recent Bracketology, the Wolverines, Boilermakers and Buckeyes were all listed as 2-seeds while eight total teams (with Iowa making it nine as one of the First Four Out) were in his field. Wisconsin was not one of those eight teams, but they will obviously have myriad chances to build an impressive resume coming out of the Big Ten.
Fans will have the opportunity to get their first look at this season’s team at the annual Red-White Scrimmage, which is set for October 17 at the Kohl Center. Time will be announced at a later date.
The 25th annual Big Ten Tournament will be played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis from March 9-13, 2022.
