The Wisconsin Badgers lost to the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday afternoon, but we aren’t here to talk about the past. We are here to discuss the depth chart and injury report for the upcoming game against Eastern Michigan. First, let’s take a look at the players we know for certain won’t play on Saturday night.
- Leo Chenal, ILB, COVID
- Al Ashford III, CB, right arm, out for season
- Cole Dakovich, TE, left leg, out for season
- Duncan McKinley, LS, left leg, out for season
CB Deron Harell and OLB Aaron Witt also weren’t available for the Penn State game, but their status was not updated yet for Week 2. It was a point of concern for a lot of fans that RB Jalen Berger didn’t even see the field against Penn State, but hopefully with the release of this new depth chart those feelings will be allayed.

The Week 2 depth chart has Berger and Isaac Guerendo listed with the “OR” designation for backup running back, so one would assume we’ll see Berger play some against the Eagles this week.
Wisconsin will stay with the same starting offensive line, although as we saw in Week 1 there should be a fair amount of substitutions going on there. The depth chart also still lists six cornerbacks for four spots. Mike Maskalunas will get another start at ILB for Chenal and Jordan Turner will take over one of the backup roles at that position.
