Well, here we are. Another week of college football is ahead of us and I suppose we should talk about it. It’s exciting that the Wisconsin Badgers (1-2 overall, 0-1 Big Ten) are playing the No. 14 Michigan Wolverines (4-0 overall, 1-0 Big Ten) this week because, well, it is easy to get fired up to play the extremely loathsome Wolverines.
Head coach Paul Chryst held his weekly Monday media availability and released the preliminary depth chart and injury report for the week.

Players that have been on the two-deep this season that are listed as questionable include ILB Mike Maskalunas, TE Jack Eschenbach and CB Faion Hicks. Freshman RB Braelon Allen, who has received a few carries and been a contributor on special teams is also on the list.
The two-deep depth chart for the week looks just about the same as it always does. Maskalunas, Eschenbach and Hicks are all still listed on the depth chart and we’ll assuredly get some more info on them when Chryst speaks to the media again on Thursday.

If you were hoping for some drastic changes at the quarterback position you’re bound to be disappointed by this depth chart, but Chryst isn’t one to make rash decisions like switching signal callers. The game against Michigan will go a long way towards proving how Graham Mertz responds to, what will surely be, the toughest week he’s had as UW’s QB1.
