On Saturday afternoon, the Wisconsin Badgers added another piece to their 2022 recruiting class when in-state kicker Gavin Lahm (Kaukauna) out of Kaukauna High School announced on Twitter that he would be attending UW next year.

Lahm stands at 6-foot and weighs around 200 pounds according to his Kohl’s Kicking profile, although he has yet to attend a Kohl’s sponsored event. According to Belz, Lahm won two kicking contests at UW specialist camps this summer and in the limited stats I could find it appears that he made a 50-yard field goal this past season.
According to his Hudl tape, he went 9-of-13 on field goals last year and also had 30 touchbacks on 73 kickoffs.
This will obviously be the only kicker that the Badgers take in this cycle and he’ll be competing with current sophomore Jack Van Dyke and current freshman Nate Van Zelst for the place kicking job next season since Collin Larsh will have exhausted his eligibility.
