It’s game week, folks. We’ve got a fresh depth chart and everything! The No. 12 Wisconsin Badgers are getting set to welcome the No. 19 Penn State Nittany Lions to Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday, and we’ve got the first bit of news for you right here.

There was a lot of talk, since spring, about the offensive line and which five we would actually see trot out onto the field for the opening drive of the year and now we have our answer.

LT: Tyler Beach
LG: Josh Seltzner
C: Joe Tippmann
RG: Jack Nelson
RT: Logan Bruss

Logan Brown is listed as the backup LT and Tanor Bortolini is the backup RT.

It is also definitely worth noting that Clemson transfer RB Chez Mellusi is listed as the starting tailback over Jalen Berger. We will be keeping an eye on how carries are split up against Penn State to see how much of a “running back by committee” this is or if Mellusi has proven to the staff that he can be the bell cow.

No real surprises on the defensive side of the ball, although six (!) cornerbacks are listed on the two-deep. CB Dean Engram is listed as the top punt returner and WR Devin Chandler is listed as the primary kick returner. Belz did note that during fall practice the Badgers ran some punt returns with two guys back there, so expect to still see WR Jack Dunn in the mix.

We will update this post with any new injuries as we get the injury report.
