After the conclusion of the college football season each year, there are many seniors from across the country that have the opportunity to put their talents on display against some of the other top players from across the country in Mobile, Ala. for the Senior Bowl.

On Friday morning, the Reese’s Senior Bowl announced their watch list. The list highlights players set to complete their eligibility in 2021 and who could be future pros or NFL Draft selections.

Seven Wisconsin Badgers made the list this year.

Of the seven players selected, there were four on offense and three on defense:

  • Wide receiver Kendric Pryor (6th-year senior)
  • Cornerback Faion Hicks (5th-year senior)
  • Tight end Jake Ferguson (5th-year senior)
  • Inside linebacker Jack Sanborn (4th-year senior)
  • Offensive lineman Logan Bruss (5th-year senior)
  • Defensive end Matt Henningsen (5th-year senior)
  • Wide receiver Danny Davis (5th-year senior)

Each of the players chosen has been a top performer for the Badgers the past few seasons, but it was interesting that offensive lineman Tyler Beach or cornerback Caesar Williams were not also included, in my opinion. Both could work their way into consideration this season as well with a big season, however.

In looking at the list, the Senior Bowl could represent a big opportunity for any of these players, but wide receivers Pryor and Davis could potentially benefit the most if chosen come season end.

All of the players included from Wisconsin likely have hopes of playing at the next level after the conclusion of the season, and the Senior Bowl is another chance to showcase their talents.

Here’s hoping all of them put together great seasons and are selected.
