While college football is just under a month away, college basketball season is just around the corner as well. On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball program released their full non-conference in anticipation of the 2021-2022 season.

To open the season, the Badgers will have an exhibition game against UW-Whitewater before three straight games at the Kohl Center against St. Francis (NY) College on November 9, Green Bay on November 12, and welcoming Providence as part of the Big Ten vs. Big East Gavitt Tipoff Games on November 15.
The Maui Invitational will provide an early test for the young a week later, as the Badgers will face off against Texas A&M in their opening matchup and then either Butler or Houston to follow.
In early December, the Badgers will travel to Georgia Tech as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge before an in-state battle with Marquette on the fourth. To round out non-conference play, Wisconsin will also face Nichols State, Morgan State, and Illinois State before Big Ten play gets going in January.
The remainder of the schedule and television information should start trickling out closer to Big Ten media days, but overall the schedule appears to be somewhat favorable for an inexperienced team undergoing a transition in year seven, under Greg Gard.
