The Wisconsin Badgers secured another commitment to their 2022 class on Wednesday, as three-star wide receiver Vinny Anthony pledged his services to Wisconsin.
The 6-foot-1, 170 pound wide out from Louisville, Ky. — and the incredibly named Louisville Male High School — is the second receiver to sign with UW this month after Tommy McIntosh committed on June 23.

Anthony had a visit this past weekend, and picked the Badgers over Duke. Anthony also had offers from other smaller schools and received interest from Cincinnati, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, Mizzou, Northwestern, Purdue and Vanderbilt.
Anthony adds to Wisconsin’s growing 2022 class. After the slow start, Wisconsin has now picked up nine commitments in the past week plus and has really been knocking it out of the park with their campus visits. Recent commits DL Curtis Neal, CB Avyonne Jones, TE JT Seagreaves, ATH Cade Yacamelli, OL Barrett Nelson and CB A’Khoury Lyde all visited campus on officials during the month and committed soon after, as did the best player in Wisconsin, four-star OL Joe Brunner.
Anthony’s addition means that it’s likely that the wide receiver spots in this class are filled out for UW. He and McIntosh both look like good sized targets, and Seagreaves is an interesting tight end prospect that could be a nice addition to UW’s passing game.
